I am aware of the internet providers in the Vestavia area. (Spectrum and AT&T). I have noticed TMobile in various areas. Do they require approval to provide service to the residents and in Vestavia ?

Noticed numerous spire flags near various roadways. Also markings on roadways. What is this for?

Please provide any comments or feedback that you feel would help our staff improve the basketball program. Officials need to be a little more consistent across crews. Not that any of them did a bad job overall, just that you didn't know what to expect at each game. You had to adjust the style of play depending on what types of things the officials decided to be calling that day. This led to a good bit of confusion amongst the players, especially the younger ones and ones still learning the game. Tryouts would be a good idea, especially for coaches that don't know all the players. Some coaches know the field better than others and the teams can get lopsided, tryouts and ranking the players helps prevent that. Last critique, need to find more gym space! Practice scheduling is very limited and holds back these players from developing enough. There a lots of positives, its a fun and competitive environment for the kids and they all had a lot of fun. Overall, great program and looking forward to future seasons.

Please provide any comments or feedback that you feel would help our staff improve the basketball program. Wish we could have gotten the game schedule a bit sooner. It seemed to come late this year. Had one occurrence when practice was canceled and the gym locked but the team was not notified. Overall a good mix of competition but ensuring all players played and had fun. Referees were awesome.

The practices had so many girls that it was a lot of standing around waiting for their turn. I love that the high school team coached the program but they weren’t very tentative to the girls in helping their development. I would have preferred a league to practice and play games was available to the girls, like it is for the boys.

As stated above, I don’t feel the girls got the best experience in terms of progressing their skills and experience in basketball compared to the boys. The structure of their programs fundamentally different. The first grade program would have been great for summer, but don’t believe it is adequate for being equal to practices and games and feel they missed out.

Please provide any comments or feedback that you feel would help our staff improve the basketball program. This year was an extreme improvement from last year! The two coaches from last year were very sweet and engaging, yet there were too many girls for two people to sufficiently provide quality instruction. Having the high school team was a dream scenario. The little girls LOVE interacting with them and it was a great way to have more hands helping out. Last year communication wasn’t great with last minute day of cancellations, but this year was great. Loved having practices on Sunday rather than week night and loved having it at the high school. Overall, great experience for our second year participating!!

He provided each child an opportunity to play without showing favoritism for the best players. He coached effectively, using positive reinforcement. He corrected quietly and praised loudly. Axton loved playing for Coach Puckett and his skills grew as a result.

The only negative we experienced this past season was last-minute location changes, especially having to use an elementary school gym for the playoffs. Other than that, I appreciate all that this league offers.

We waited outside for an hour one cold Wednesday night waiting for someone to unlock the Pizitz gym. Totally unacceptable and it’s not the first time this has happened. Why are we at the mercy of facilities staff members who aren’t reliable or available during normal hours?!
