Welcome to Survey Two of the Gene C. Reid Park Master Planning process
This survey will ask you to reflect on three concept alternatives for the future of Reid Park. The concept alternatives are imaginative proposals intended to stimulate conversations and creative thinking about the park's future. These three concepts are bold and will help the community identify trade-offs and priorities among diverse cultural, recreational, and environmental opportunities. The end-goal of Phase 2: bring together the best parts of each concept to create a visionary Reid Park that meets the needs of Tucson over the next 50 years. This survey is your chance to be part of the design process!
About the Gene C. Reid Park Master Plan:
The Master Plan will provide an aspirational roadmap for Gene C. Reid Park's long-term evolution. The plan will be used to help guide future investments in the park with the confidence that they fit into a larger strategic vision. Having a park Master Plan is important to ensure that available resources are allocated efficiently and to the items of the highest priority. As future/ongoing reinvestments in the park are made, different funding sources will be used as appropriate to the project. State, federal, and local grants; private and non-profit partnerships; and bonds are all likely sources of funding for capital improvements.
