    • Other - I live within 3 blocks of the site. It is a wildlife corridor with many protected plant species that needs to be preserved.

    • Other - The natural ecosystem, proximity to my home and it is critical in retaining the unique neighborhood character.

    • Transit connections & walking/biking improvements
    • Water harvesting/green infrastructure
    • Other - Maintain current density that match the properties to the west and north. The true caring capacity of this property is 22 sites and 44 houses. High density FLD housing does not support individual water harvesting. The EHW (NUOS) and FEMA dictate this.
  • What additional comments or questions do you have regarding the 36th and La Cholla site?

    Community Needs/Priorities:

    Park or Low-density housing under current lot restrictions, not FLD option B using RAC.
    Social equity: justice and fairness for not only our neighborhood but for all existing Tucson neighborhoods. Neighborhoods vs developers. Why are neighborhoods forced to accept a development, "You must do a Community Development Agreement" prior to the M&C approval, or you will have no further input in a proposed development. That is not just or fair. In the past 10 years the UDC has changed a lot and continues change, depending on developers needs not the neighborhood and its citizens.
    Environmental/ecological affects, if this development is allowed, will be harsh.
    Traffic in this area is already horrible, and short of widening La Cholla (which cannot be done) will have little effect.
    Flooding along La Cholla and the danger it poses to motorist and surrounding will increase.

    No to Flexible Lot Development, specifically FLD option B for this proposed development project. I support 22 lots with 44 homes on this property.
