Possible use by the Zoo of the south parking lot and playground area, relocate picnic, playground and parking area to the north side of the park. Leaving the duck pond in question and Barnum Hill accessible. Access to the new Zoo grounds via a new slightly narrower pathway leading to south parking lot and playground area. There is also a large grass area that would be good to use by the Zoo to the south-west, that could be added to this plan for Zoo expansion. This leave the entire middle and north parts of the park available to the public.
