As a Cave Rock/Uppaway or Skyland water customer, what rate option would you prefer?
Water rates for the Cave Rock/Uppaway and Skyland Water Systems were last updated and established in 2010 and currently do not reflect cost-of-service. An overview of the updated proposed rates based on cost-of-service was presented to the Board of County Commissioners on August 21, 2014.

The primary advantage to leaving the rates at their current level is two-fold. It will allow for additional reserves in order to: 1) offset future capital needs and 2) aid in repairing and/or replacing short-lived assets.
