Give your input to help shape an update to your character area plan

A character area helps to ensure that new development in the area is compatible with the existing character and supports the preferences of the community. It is created using input from neighborhoods, community members and businesses on design preferences and future enhancements in public and private space. The plan also considers what makes this area of Tempe distinct from neighboring areas. 

The Corona/South Tempe Character Area was adopted by City Council in 2015, and we need your input to update it. Things have changed in the past 10 years and your input can help ensure that the Character Area Plan still reflects your priorities on the area’s future.
