The City of Tempe is beginning the annual process of developing its operating (day-to-day operations) and capital (major improvements) budgets for the 2024-25 fiscal year which begins July 1, 2024. The Mayor and City Council want to hear from residents about how you think the city should focus its limited funds to provide the greatest benefit to the community.
Below is a list of some of the many services and programs included in the City’s operating and capital budgets. They are grouped by the city’s five strategic priorities. Please “spend” $100 to show where you think the Council should consider investing in the upcoming budget. Each dot is $10.
For more information about the budget, review the Budget in Brief. Public meeting information is available at tempe.gov/budgetplan.
