The City of Tempe is beginning the annual process of developing its operating (day to day operations) and capital (major improvements) budgets for the 2023-24 fiscal year which begins July 1, 2023. The Mayor and City Council want to hear from residents about how you think the city should focus its limited funds to provide the greatest benefit to the community.
Below is a list of some of the many services and programs included in the City’s operating and capital budgets. They are grouped by the city’s five strategic priorities. Please “spend” $100 to show where you think the Council should consider investing in the upcoming budget. Each dot is $10.
Need More Information on Strategic Priorities?
The City of Tempe is deeply rooted in its commitment to be an inclusive, transparent, and high performing organization. An information and data portal has been developed where you can review the five strategic priorities, explore the performance measures that support these priorities, along with the performance data that helps inform city decisions. Come explore at performance.tempe.gov (works best with Chrome).
