Have better signage and painted lanes to indicate which lanes go directly onto Wolfe from Fremont, and which lanes will place cars directly in the lane to turn onto El Camino. Very confusing for anyone not used to the Wolfe/Fremont/ECR intersection.

This corridor, along with the intersection of El Camino Real and Poplar, are direct entry points for Peterson Middle School. It is ludicrous that there are no crossing guards, no light-up crosswalks, no bike lanes, NO ANYTHING to keep our kids safe. With Starbucks now on the corner of Poplar and El Camino, cars speeding through red lights on El Camino, and no safety measures in place, this intersection is a tragedy waiting to happen. Parents of Peterson kids have been making their voices heard for a decade, but still, no safety measures are in place. Please do something at Henderson and Poplar to make these intersections safe for middle schoolers who walk or bike to school. There are crossing guards along El Camino Real in every other city on the peninsula. Why not Sunnyvale? At least provide crossing guards as an interim measure until the City can (hopefully) install light-up crosswalks with longer lead time, buffered bike lanes, or changes to signal timing. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE. Do it for the kids.
