We are evaluating Sunnyvale's traffic calming program and policy. We will use the results of the study to recommend possible changes to the City Council. What is traffic calming?
Traffic calming uses various devices to improve traffic and pedestrian safety. The devices may include signage, striping, speed humps, etc. The intent is to solve problems like speeding and cut-through traffic in residential neighborhoods.
