How Should We Change the Caltrain Crossings at Mary and Sunnyvale Avenues?

The City plans to lower the roadways at the Mary and Sunnyvale avenues Caltrain crossings. The road would go beneath the railroad tracks. This project - called a grade separation - will:

• Improve safety for all travelers,
• Improve bicycle and pedestrian pathways, and
• Decrease traffic delay and noise caused by the railroad crossing gates.

We are studying two options for each intersection. Your input will help determine the best option for each location.

This survey has two parts:

• Mary Avenue options
• Sunnyvale Avenue options

Review the information and tell us which option you prefer and why for each location.  The survey will run through July 31, 2022.

You may wish to watch recordings of the recent Community Meetings to learn more about the options and trade-offs for each.
