Online Town Hall is not a certified voting system or ballot box. As with any public comment process, participation in Online Town Hall is voluntary. The responses in this record are not necessarily representative of the whole population, nor do they reflect the opinions of any government agency or elected officials.

Are there areas of concern you have with the current Ethics Code?
Yes. Would you like to know them? I'll share. City staff being required to provide training is vague and I think leaves a door open for an appointed or elected official to claim ignorance of the code, based on staff training. I recommend adding further definition of what is expected/required from staff training, and that it does not serve as a one stop shop for responsibility to abide by the code.
Are there issues you believe are missing from the current Ethics Code that need to be addressed?
No
Any other additional information you would like the Citizens Ethics Task Force to consider?
