This is where we experienced street flooding--water was over the curb on Williams Trace. There was no water at all on our street, Arrowhead Drive

Flooding was worse than Allison, can see from position of boat that waters were higher than reflected in photos. North side of lake flooded but the south side of lake did not experience as extensive flooding due to lots being built up, retention ponds being removed and pushing water to lower elevations. Flooding now occurs regularly after heavy rainfalls. Additional photo posted of past flooding for example.

In Riverbend North at the high end of my street the water covered the street, crossed the sidewalk and came into my front yard. It did not drain for several hours. The homeowners in the lower parts of my neighborhood probably felt a bit more threatened. Any cars in the street would have suffered some water damage. The photo was taken @ approximately 7 am. http://pinterest.com/pin/A9WvfAAQAPMBAdBV9dQAAAA/

Major flooding. Car stalled, the street was like a river with water past the sidewalks.

Rifle Gap Lane ~ street flooding and water was all the way up to the front door, back door, and side door. It did not go in the house but did get in the garage. It seems like the street flood quite frequently with heavy rain and in the past the street rarely flooded.

My son was going home from work at Home Depot at Hwy 6 and West Airport around 1230 am on the night of Memorial Day. He tried to go down Burney but encountered high water so he went to Eldridge where he turned right. He went to Jess Pirtle and turned right where he encountered high water so he turned left onto Sugardale hoping to get out of the high water. His car was subsequently submerged by the water on Sugardale. His car was totaled.

Flood water came up to our front yard trees, past the boulevard trees...about an additional 8 feet from the boulevard trees. Water covered the median in the road completely and all trash cans washed quickly down the street and out onto Alcorn Oaks Dr.

Pecan Ridge Drive flooded when the bayou behind us got full then the street flooded up into the front yards past our sidewalk about 4 feet...the water was flowing rapidly and then suddenly stopped flowing around 3 am and then started flowing rapidly the opposite direction. 3 automobiles parked on the street were flooded. By 6 am the street was not flooded. We figure somebody was on top of things and opened up a reservoir in the nick of time because water was rapidly rising toward our front door and then when the water reversed and started flowing again it stopped advancing. We are grateful because I started putting things upstairs when we saw the water rising. It was trash night and all our trash receptacles were stacked at the corner of greenfields and pecan ridge and up in the yards.

We live at 2018 Arcadia Drive and our street was flooded and impassable from about 8 PM to 3AM. We also had back yard flooding because the drainage area behind our house which is supposed to be maintained by Glen Laurel Sub Division had not been mowed or cleared and the water had no where to go but our back yard..We had to open our gates to let the water flow to the street.
