The City of Sugar Land experienced a major storm on Memorial Day that produced more than 10 inches of rainfall within 8 hours. This was a 100-year storm event for our City and even greater in some concentrated areas. We are gathering information to better understand and define the areas impacted and identify any needed improvements not already identified in our Master Drainage Plan. The City is aggressively seeking all information regarding areas where structures, local streets and major roadways flooded. If you or your neighbors experienced any flooding, please take the time to identify the areas on the interactive map by pinning the location, explaining what occurred and uploading any photos that show flooding. You can start the activity by clicking on "Add Your Report" below.
This information is critical for the City to identify and address all of the affected areas so that proper planning can be done to address areas that pose threats or impediments to our community.
