On November 18, 2014 a Council workshop was presented to update City Council on the design progress for University North Extension and discuss the status of the railroad crossing closure process. Staff provided a summation of the recent public meeting that was held, including public comments that were received, railroad crossing closure recommendation, other needs identified to accommodate the closure of Wood Street and seek guidance on moving forward with the railroad crossing closure.
