Scott County is in the process of updating its park use ordinance, and the question about whether Scott County should change its rules about smoking and tobacco use in parks has come up. * Should Scott County continue its current policy that prohibits smoking and tobacco use around buildings and in play areas and beaches?
• Should Scott County adopt a more restrictive policy that limits smoking and tobacco use to designated areas, such as parking lots and roadways?
• Should Scott County ban smoking and tobacco use entirely in its park system?
