January 12, 2026, Public Hearing: Rezoning, Preliminary Plat & Final Plat of West View Acres

William and Gloria Hentges are requesting to rezone 24.31 acres of their 114.05-acre property in order to subdivide 3 single family residential lots.  The area they are proposing for the residential lots is high ground that is separated by wetlands from the bulk of the 114.05-acre parcel, which they use for agricultural crop production.  The property, located in section 29 of Spring Lake Township, is located within the 2040 Comprehensive Plan Rural Residential Growth Area, which allows development at 1 dwelling unit per 2.5-acre density.
