May 12, 2025, Public Hearing: Preliminary Plat of Brink Business Park 2nd Addition

The applicant met with New Market Township and County staff in February 2024 to discuss proposed development of this parcel and the adjacent property to the west.  Due to the size of the combined development being over 80 acres (connected action with the parcel to the west) State regulations required that an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) be completed.  This EAW process occurred during the late summer of 2024 with the EAW published by the Minnesota Environmental Quality Board (EQB) for adjacent agency and public comment from July 16 to August 15, 2024.  The county did not receive any public comments or significant environmental impact comments, so the County Board issued a negative declaration for the need for an Environmental Impact Statement on October 10, 2024, allowing the developer to make a plat application.
