April 14, 2025, Public Hearing: Conditional Use Permit Amendment

The applicants received a Conditional Use Permit to operate a truck and auto repair and snow plowing business in June 1997. Amendments to the CUP were approved in 2001, 2008, 2019 and again in 2022. The current site includes 17.1 acres, 3 industrial buildings, 1 cold storage building and storage lot.
The applicants are proposing to expand the business to the 37 acre Doucette Family Holdings parcel to the north of the current site and expand the storage lot by 2.6 acres. The applicants state in their letter that the outside storage facility tends to be seasonal storage, and it overlaps a few months in the spring and fall. Additionally, weather can play a factor in when storage is needed. This can create space issues on their lot due to one storage group coming in before the other has been moved out. This additional area will be used to solve this problem and allow some of their larger storage customers more space to move safely on the property. The storage area will be surfaced with asphalt or concrete with individual stalls for each item. These stalls would then be leased for the storage of recreational vehicles or commercial vehicles. Only licensed vehicles would be allowed to be stored on the site.
