A majority of Santa Clarans have indicated support for moving to district-based elections for its councilmembers, with the Mayor being elected at-large. Currently, the City of Santa Clara is operating under an interim six council district system, with one councilmember elected to represent each district.
The City is seeking input from the community on the number of districts. Is the current six-district model working or would some other model be preferred?
