What do you love about the City of SLO parks, activities, and recreational facilities?
Love the new playground at Sinsheimer.
What do you wish to have in 20 years for the City of SLO parks, activities and recreational facilities?
Would like more facilities for senior citizens. I think of a community I used to live in, Fullerton, with a large senior center with ample parking and room for programs (which is also used as a general community resource in the evening). Also, I recently visited a very small town in Missouri which had a larger and more active senior center than SLO does. Both places, lunches are served daily and there are many more programs than in SLO. Also, would like to see Laguna Lake area cleaned up. Also, more playing fields and wonderful playgrounds throughout the city. Dedicated pickleball courts would be great, too.
