I SUPPORT CHANGES to ADU regulations. Please indicate changes in next question.
If you support changes to ADU regulations, please indicate what changes you would like to see below.
1. Allow TWO bedrooms.
2. More specific regulations that will result in retaining the character of neighborhoods.
Would you support a change to the Sandpoint City Code that would allow for smaller lot sizes than currently allowed to provide more housing options (i.e. townhouses or other fee simple attached single family units or smaller detached homes).
No, I do not support lot sizes smaller than current code allows 50 ft. wide/5,000 square feet

What would improve your neighborhood?
A speed bump or two on Antone ike those you allow on Northview Drive would be nice. Antone is only one-block long and has become a cross town speedway. If the block on Pine Street between 4th and 5th Avenues would be returned to two-way traffic with a light again at Pine & 5th, west bound traffic would stop using heretofore quiet residential neighborhood streets to reach schools, the county administrative building and other points west.
What do you like best about your neighborhood?
Just as it is. There are no homes more than traditional two-stories in height on our two blocks. It is an old neighborhood that has retained its character and I believe everyone in the neighborhood would like to see that continue. However, now only 1 1/2 blocks on S. Third Avenue away there are two residences (appear to be duplexes perhaps) being built that are THREE OR MORE stories high. They are out of place and real eyesores and will do nothing to provide housing for the people who really need it.
