What are some of the challenges businesses are facing due to COVID-19?

Due to COVID-19, we are all taking extra precautions to keep ourselves safe and healthy. In doing so, we know our valued business community has experienced significant impacts and have had to make major modifications to operations. 

To better understand the current impacts COVID-19 has had on your business and future needs to support you, we want to hear from you!

We are also conducting a Redwood City Shopper Habit survey to gain insight into what consumers are looking for when choosing a service business, restaurant, or retailer, which we plan to share with you to help retool your operations in order to better serve customers. We welcome you to also participate in sharing your feedback in that survey, which you can find here! 

Both the business and shopper habits surveys will aid the City in developing strategies that will help to support our community through these unprecedented times. They will also help as we work collaboratively with our regional economic development partners like SAMCEDA and local business stakeholders groups like the Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Business Group and the Redwood City Improvement Association. We are all working closely to provide resources and programs to help support business recovery efforts, capture local dollars and guide the development of strategies into the future.
