The City of Redwood City is searching for a new Fire Chief. Current Chief Ray Iverson will retire in December 2024 after a 33-year career in the fire service profession. The City Manager appoints the Fire Chief, and City Manager Melissa Stevenson Diaz is seeking community input on the skills, experience and characteristics needed in the next Fire Chief.
