[email protected]Do you support maintaining the residential permit parking zone and 2-hour time limits on your block?
If you answered no, please let us know why you feel permit parking is no longer needed on your street:
BECAUSE NO ONE ENFORCES THIS. It's a waste of permits and time.
Everyone still parks on Second Ave for Stanford, construction in area, whatever.
If permit parking is on your street, what days are the restrictions most needed?
If permit parking is on your street, what hours is enforcement most needed?
If permit parking is on your street, how many permanent permits are reasonable per single-family residence?
If permit parking is on your street, how many permanent permits are reasonable per multi-family residence?
If permit parking is on your street, how many permanent permits are reasonable per Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU)?
If permit parking is on your street, how many visitor permits are reasonable per household? (Visitor permits currently provide 1-14 days of parking per visitor)
Should there be an appeal process for properties (a case-by-case review) to get one additional permit above the area limit? For example, a property that currently does not have off street parking or circumstances that prevent on-site parking.
Please add any additional information that you would like the City to consider regarding residential parking permits.
This is the stupidest thing for my block of 2nd. Why have permits, if NO ONE will enforce this? What is the point? People are still parking for longer than 2 hrs. Each approved construction site should have its own employee parking that does not encroach upon the neighborhood. SAME WITH STANFORD. They charge their employees to park, so everyone using the gym parks on 2nd and walks over.
