A number of daycare providers have complained that when they are trying to rent a house, from which they intend to run an in-home daycare, they are met with resistance from the landlord. According to CA law, it is illegal to discriminate against a daycare, but so many do. A daycare is NOT any harder on a rental property than a single family, in fact, it's often the opposite. We keep our homes clean and in good shape. Maybe a task force, or a way for providers to quickly get help for this issue.
