Do you have any other suggestions about how to improve on-street parking in the Joaquin Neighborhood?
Stop giving variances for the number of parking spaces required at each apt. Make apts provide enough off street parking for their tenants. And please make the tenants use that parking. The parking lot is often not full but tenants park in front of our house. Reserve a spot in front of each residence for use of that residence. This is particularly a problem in the winter. When it snows and we shovel the walk, apartment dwellers park in front of our house and then my 94 yr old mother cannot walk down the shoveled walk to the car. I also have had to move some things and have not been able to park in front of our home to move them . They often leave their car for several days parked in front of our home. There is plenty of parking around the corner. Maybe we need to have a "Be a Good Neighbor" education program.
