What do you think of this one applicant to represent the Pleasant View Neighborhood on the Neighborhood District 1 Executive Board?
Please let us know your opinion of the following applicants for the term beginning January 2025 (you may also submit your opinion privately by emailing the City Council at [email protected]):
Michael Sellers
- Provo: Provo resident, owns a business in Provo, owns property in Provo, works in Provo.
- Reason for Applying: I care about my neighborhood. I feel like there is sometimes a natural disconnect between the city and the residents. I felt that the neighborhood program that came before this did a great job, mainly because our neighborhood chair was awesome. I feel that it's time that I did my part to make sure that the connection between the city and the residents of the Pleasant View neighborhood stays as healthy as it can.
- Goals: My goal is to make sure that we can balance the increased traffic, housing, and parking needs as Provo grows, without abandoning the traditional family feeling of our neighborhood. I have a vested interest in road safety and realistic development of land that adequately addresses parking and traffic needs. My goal is that more people in the neighborhood engage and know what is going on.
