I’d like to see at least two in city off leash dog parks added. More spaces allows for less dogs in unwanted areas.
I also feel like if your dog is e-collar trained properly this should be counted as leashed. I get some people fudge things but let’s not punish those of us who train and work hard to have a well behaved dog.
I have been at parks on leash with my dog when parents are not watching their children and their children are coming up to dogs and grabbing and chasing dogs they do not know. We need to look globally at the problem and not just point fingers at dogs and dog owners.
