Name: Mitzi Collins
District: Neighborhood District 2

Applying for: Neighborhood District Executive Board
Why are you interested in serving on a Neighborhood District Executive Board?
"Kristina Davis reached out and asked if I would serve. I am somewhat familiar with government processes as I have been employed by the federal government for over 30 years. I have not been involved in local/community politics because of professional ethical restrictions. But after Kristina requested I consider serving, I reached out to my ethics board and received permission to serve. I care about our neighborhood and community and am happy to listen and contribute where possible."
What are your goals for your Neighborhood District?
"Maintain the beauty and desirability of the Oak Hills neighborhoods; Work with other neighborhoods in District 2 and throughout the city to create awareness of resources and accountability opportunities; Create avenues for communication between citizens/residents and elected officials."
