What do you think about the proposed design standard regulation changes for the West Gateway Zone (between downtown and I-15)?
Provo City residents are encouraged to provide input on new development within the city. We value our residents' opinion and ideas. Your input assists staff in ensuring that all viewpoints are heard and to make them aware of concerns as well as what residents see as a match to the City's vision.
Developer/Applicant
Quinn Peterson
Project address
West Gateway Zone (Generally along Center Street from 800 West to 1100 West - see map below)
Description
Quinn Peterson requests an Ordinance Text Amendment to Section 14.21D.140 in order to change the design standard regulations for the West Gateway (WG) Zone. This is considered a citywide application. The requested change would provide design standards for this area that would match the Downtown design standards. The quest is to strike the existing design standards in Section 14.21D.140 and refer to Section 14.34.295 as the other downtown zones do.
Status
As a citywide application no neighborhood meeting is required. The application has been under review of various Provo City departments and will be heard by the Planning Commission on April 13, 2022. Because it is a zone change, it will also need to be heard by the Provo City Council.
