I like this general plan and the goals for our city, including future plans on how to have more commercial and mixed housing. I'm also glad to see a lot of emphasis on taking advantage of our outdoor amenities and linking the lake to the mountains with trails.
One area that is not covered in the general plan that I was hoping to see is improvements to how we approach policing. I generally worry that we ask our police to handle too many different situations where other types of first responders or social service resources might be a better fit.
