What activities do you, your family, and/or friends like to do in Lents?
Beer at Z-Haus; coffee & pastries at Bella’s, and Lents International Farmers Market.
What kinds of businesses are important to you? What kinds of businesses would you like to have added to the neighborhood?
Pizza, Indian food, grocery store (ever since Fred Meyer closed we have to drive to Clackamas or way out to 122nd...2-3 miles out of our neighborhood)
What kind of open public space do you imagine here? What could it be used for (e.g., Lents International Farmers Market)?
I’m just afraid that we are losing green space and hoping that trees and nice park-like landscaping will be available. How about a mini Salmon Springs fountain? That would be great water feature for the kids in the summer.
What kind of housing do you imagine here? Do you want to see a mix of affordable housing units and market rate units? Do you want to see a mix of units to accommodate families of all sizes?
MORE affordable housing. I’m a teacher in the David Douglas school district and so many of my students are having to move because the rents keep going up. Where can they go in Portland?!
What are your top priorities for Prosper Portland's investment in this development?
Create open spaces for neighborhood events
Create affordable housing units
Additional parking for businesses and residents
Programmed events in public spaces, install public art
Support local neighborhood small businesses through commercial space renovations
If one of your priorities was "Other" please describe it:
No response. What additional equitable development goals are important to you?
Encouraging and supporting people of color to start a business in this area. Also, look at the gorgeous mural on the Boys & Girls club...we need for every culture to feel included in our neighborhood. More art please!
