What activities do you, your family, and/or friends like to do in Lents?
Work on my home. Visit parks. Visit what few local eateries we have. Visit with neighbors. Work on community projects. Would love to go on the spring water trail but I feel unsafe.
What kinds of businesses are important to you? What kinds of businesses would you like to have added to the neighborhood?
Would love to have a healthy food store with organic vegetables and fruit. Would love restaurants with vegitarian options. Local sourced products of all kinds. Promote healthy lifestyle acupuncture clinic low cost yoga.
What kind of open public space do you imagine here? What could it be used for (e.g., Lents International Farmers Market)?
Farmers market. Small fairs and marketplaces. Neighborhood gatherings. We have a lack of community space that is usable in rainy weather. Community meeting space.
What kind of housing do you imagine here? Do you want to see a mix of affordable housing units and market rate units? Do you want to see a mix of units to accommodate families of all sizes?
Mixed. To my understanding they already built a lot of low income units. We need market rate units that support local economy as well as low income.
What are your top priorities for Prosper Portland's investment in this development?
Additional parking for businesses and residents
Support local neighborhood small businesses through commercial space renovations
Housing without rent restrictions
Create open spaces for neighborhood events

Programmed events in public spaces, install public art

No response. What additional equitable development goals are important to you?
Air quality and sustainable energy are important to our future. Accessibility for disabled. Please provide ample parking as there are so many places with no parking and never any disabled spots.
