The City has rules and regulation in place which will keep the area accessible. We just need to move forward with building.

Strengthen multimodal transportation connections; enhance the public realm to improve accessibility and create vibrant public spaces and recreational opportunities. - 2

The transit system is already in place in this area, so efforts toward transportation are secondary.

Develop the site so that it reflects high-quality construction, resource sharing, environmentally-friendly practices and social responsibility. - 4

Its important that as the area is developed minority communities are involved and given opportunity.
GOAL 5: KEEP PORTLAND ACCOUNTABLE
Create an implementable strategy that attracts private investment and delivers appropriate public benefit. - 5 - Very important

Private investment must have a balance between, big investors and small/micro players.
Local players cannot compete with well funded firms from larger cities.

The area has to look good and should represent a difference from the Pearl's look and feel. It would be nice if this were more of a business area.
The old model was financial district, the new model should be more broad and inclusive of new types of industry that feed off of each other.
