  • What do you like about the Plan?

It is a reinvention and focused more on all of Portland and on those who have been left out.

  • Does anything in the Plan need greater emphasis? Please explain.

    Displacement prevention.

  • What is missing from the Plan? Please share your advice:

It's high level so it is missing specifics.

  • Is there anything else you would like to share?

1)The word catalytic was used a lot. Does it have technical meaning or is it a qualitative word. I noticed it was used a lot but not when talking about East Portland -- then it was just 'development'.
    2) on page 11 it said "invest in priority neighborhoods and cultural landmarks" who decides, and which ones?
    3) In the list of East Portland iconic places I noticed you did not have The Buttes, which have been mentioned as a possible East side 'Forest Park'.
    4) A lot about public benefit agreements but no specifics on what they would be.
    5) on Page 17, "Initiate or participate in collaborative networks to address innovation- and employment-enabling infrastructure." What does that mean?
    6) I liked this "Launch a Community Development Fund with like-minded investors to provide gap financing for catalytic projects in NPI districts with the goal of supporting community-driven, public benefit development projects;" I would like to see more good projects in East Portland.

  • OPTIONAL: Have you worked with PDC in the past? (check all that apply)
    • Provided testimony
    • Attended an open house
