What are your feelings on the proposed future placement of bike paths?
The City of Alpharetta is requesting public comment on the proposed Alpharetta Bike Plan. The purpose of this plan is to identify roadways that should receive enhanced accommodations for recreational and commuter cyclists.
Features envisioned for these enhancements include wide travel lanes, full on-street bike lanes, and/or wide shared-use side paths.
While there currently is limited funding for specific improvements, developing this plan provides a road map to incrementally enhance the community as the City performs routine maintenance or as properties further develop.
