The City of Alpharetta is working with nearby jurisdictions to create a regional transportation plan for North Fulton County. The purpose of this North Fulton Comprehensive Transportation Plan is to provide the foundation and framework for multimodal, multi-jurisdictional infrastructure and policy recommendations across the cities of Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Sandy Springs, Roswell and Mountain Park. Existing conditions will be documented and analyzed for low cost, easily implemented operational improvements as well as major investments. Identified needs and recommendations will be examined against vision, goals and objectives criteria. The resulting document, TRIP (Transportation Resources Implementation Program), will guide the accomplishment of this effort. Input of the public and stakeholders will be sought throughout the project schedule.
