Montgomery County has established aggressive goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change, and is evaluating steps to prepare for and build our resilience to the impacts of climate change, such as increased flooding, severe storms, and hotter summers. As part of the planning process, the County convened five workgroups made up of County residents that recommended over 850 actions the County, residents, and businesses could pursue related to climate change.
As a Montgomery County resident and/or worker, your actions and support will make a difference not only for the climate, but for our health and prosperity. We need your input about the challenges and proposed solutions.
There are two ways to provide input:
- Take this quick survey to share your views on the most important areas on which the County should focus and how actions should be prioritized.
- If you want to dive deeper into the workgroup recommendations, go to Montgomery County's Climate Web Page to review and share your comments !
