On December 11, 2024, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, Montgomery Parks will host a virtual community meeting to present initial ideas for enhancing Laytonsville Local Park. Click here to join the meeting.
The proposed improvements include:
Replacing existing play equipment with new features for children aged 2-5 and 5-12.
Enhancing accessibility.
Adding seating for parents and caregivers.
Potential upgrades such as renovating the basketball court, adding new seating, and improving stormwater management.
