Montgomery Parks is collecting feedback on proposed improvements at Dalewood Drive Neighborhood Park, located on Dalewood Drive between Brightview Street and Veirs Mill Road in Wheaton, MD. The existing playground has reached the end of its lifespan and updates are needed.
The park renovation project will focus on renovating the existing playground and adding a picnic seating area, while also improving accessibility, maintenance access, and providing stormwater management facilities. Other proposed improvements may include new site furniture or other amenities such as fitness equipment.
