Montgomery Parks recently received a grant to renovate and/or convert existing amenities, add new park features, modernize facilities, and improve infrastructure at Rosemary Hills-Lyttonsville Local Park located at 2450 Lyttonsville Road in Silver Spring. This project will identify the gaps in recreational and park amenities in the community and develop a renovation plan that will increase ADA access and add new park amenities. Potential facilities for the renovation could include one or more of the following: a dog park, a community garden, picnic shelters, a soccer court, and a pickleball court. The trails, sidewalks, and parking lots will be improved to enhance accessibility.
