Please tell us your thoughts on the concept plan above and how it will impact your usage of Long Branch-Garland Park.
It looks fairly similar to what is there now, which I think is great. We don't need much change. I like the idea of having the lawn area attended to but we don't need a complete overhaul.
I'm not sure what "sport court" means. Will there still be a basketball court or will there be space for soccer? Those two sports courts have entirely different requirements.
Will the existing play equipment be tossed out, expanded, or reused somewhere else? We are supposed to be a green county. If there's nothing wrong with the current equipment, perhaps reusing or adding additional equipment would be appropriate. We need to set the example of reducing waste.
That said, will there be recycling and trash containers in the new version of our park?
Please share any ideas for park improvements or amenities you would like to see in Long Branch-Garland Park.
Walking/biking/skating trail without lumps that cause falls and injury.
