Share your thoughts on improvements and amenities for Woodside Urban Park

On June 8, 2021, Montgomery Parks held a live virtual community meeting to present initial ideas for improvements to Woodside Urban Park and would like to hear your feedback about the two concepts presented, as well as your preferences for amenities and improvements.  A recording of the presentation and the presentation slides will be posted to the project web site.

Woodside Urban Park is a well-used 2.3-acre park adjacent to the Silver Spring Central Business District that serves adjacent neighborhoods as well as the urban core of Silver Spring. The existing park amenities include playgrounds, tennis court, basketball court, handball court, skate spot, and picnic areas. Montgomery Parks is now working to make improvements at Woodside to update aging amenities, improve park circulation, and add value for park users.

Help us shape the design of the park by filling out the following survey*. Parks staff will use public input to inform the Woodside Urban Park Amended Facility Plan that will be presented to the Planning Board in 2022.
