Montgomery Parks is creating a spending plan for the future of parks and we want to know what is important to you! The Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a six-year funding plan for capital projects, approved every two years by the Montgomery County Planning Board and the Montgomery County Council. The CIP for Montgomery Parks includes projects for parkland acquisitions, renovation of park facilities, and new development within parks.
Do you have ideas for new park projects or thoughts on improvements that would make existing parks better? What in the parks is important to you? What types of park development, activities, or locations should be priorities for capital spending?
Please leave your comments and suggestions in the "Take the Survey" tab.
There will also be an online public forum on June 10 at 6 p.m. where the public may testify.
