Do you have any additional comments or suggestions for the Telegraph Multimodal Corridor Project? Your survey never mentioned convenience/efficiency of car travel as a possible priority.

Do you have any additional comments or suggestions for the Telegraph Multimodal Corridor Project? All the proposed fixes seem to add great complexity to the experience. A four lane urban highway is a simple thing with which we are familiar. Considerate people who have learned good pedestrian, driving and biking habits find little or no problem with it. Please don't over-fix it.

Do you have any additional comments or suggestions for the Telegraph Multimodal Corridor Project? Please make sure the final plan includes added protection to prevent traffic from finding cut-throughs to avoid Telegraph or Ashby. We need to avoid more car traffic on Prince Street and Deakin Street in our neighborhood (southwest of Ashby/Telegraph).

Do you have any additional comments or suggestions for the Telegraph Multimodal Corridor Project? I have actually been hit as a pedestrian and sustained a serious permanent injury. I believe pedestrian are endangered by vehicles trying to jump through yellow lights, drivers not seeing pedestrians and drivers distracted on their phones. I believe these designs will increase the likelihood of these things happening because when you choose to make traffic more congested some drivers will become frustrated and it will be more likely that they will try to jump lights and get distracted on their phones. Instead the money should be invested in pedestrian activated flashing beacons at every crosswalk which I think are very effective. Also there should left turn signals at major intersections such as going North on Telegraph at Ashby. I’m 0n Telegraph daily and see a miniscule amount of Berkeley residents waiting to get on the bus compared to drivers. Having a dedicated bus lane is a waste. I do not believe that will result in significantly more people riding the bus. Thank you .

Do you have any additional comments or suggestions for the Telegraph Multimodal Corridor Project? Please prioritize reducing vehicle speeds on Telegraph. Please select the final project design with 8-16 year olds (who walk/bike/roll) in mind. What is the most you can do to protect young residents? This will help create a safe experience for most/all users. Additionally, please prioritize improvements for accessibility.
