  • What are the most pressing unmet mental health needs in the City of Berkeley?

Probably we need to help the 75% of the so-called normal people to learn to think about the good and Welfare of the people that live around them rather than just have their own personal lives. The shelter-in-place times have givenv us the chance to see how many people act only for their own comfort and do not make the needs of their immediate Neighbors important.

  • What are your ideas on the best ways to address these needs?

Honestly I think advertising campaigns suggesting that people put the needs of those who live immediately around them ahead of their own personal needs. I am not a marketer and so I'm not the best person to make specific suggestions, but this would be the goal.

  • Is there anything else you would like to share regarding mental health services and needs in the City of Berkeley?

Only that maybe 25% of the funds should be continued to be used in just the very way that they currently are in addressing the needs of people in crisis. This is because my sense is that 75% of the people are not in crisis but still would tremendously benefit by having their mental selfishness gently mentioned and corrected.
