Should the City Council, 1) adopt an ordinance requiring stores over 2,500 square feet to sell more nutritious food and beverage options in their checkout areas; and 2) refer to the City Manager to determine sources of funding and staffing needs to implement, enforce, and support the ordinance?

The Agenda & Rules Committee referred the Healthy Checkout Ordinance to the Health, Life Enrichment, Equity & Community Committee for additional review.  The item will be in the November 25 agenda packet for the Committee.  The agenda packet for the November 25 meeting will be posted to the committee web page on November 21.
