We should really be allocating resources to help the Fire Dept. maintain community engagement and education programming. We should be helping to house and employ the Bay Area’s many veterans and service people. We should likewise be laboring to help senior, disabled, and homeowners and families of color regain or obtain homes. As a member of the East Bay chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America I must urge the city to think more critical and move towards the increase of public housing, and towards the attainment of a viable infrastructure for social housing for all.
