As the City of Sammamish matures, growth, redevelopment, and new regulations trigger the need for new and more complex stormwater projects. The City must balance demands such as protection of infrastructure, environment, and public safety with our two most limited resources: budget and staff time.
The City needs an objective, transparent, and consistent method for ranking and prioritizing potential stormwater Capital Improvement Projects (CIPs) based on City priorities.
City staff are developing a method by which to rank and prioritize potential projects for Council approval. As we develop this method, we want to hear community input and priorities to incorporate into our method.
